Hi everyone,
My name is Molly, and my fiancé, Daniel, and I are so excited to be hosting two cob building workshops on our land this coming May! We live in beautiful Southwestern North Carolina on the NC/TN border on a 40 acre farm. We are partnering with Cruzin Cob Global to host a 5 week cob building workshop in which students will learn to build a small cob cottage from foundation to reciprocal green roof, and a 1 week wood-powered cob cookstove workshop. This is going to be a deep dive into all things cob building, as well as an enriching community experience for all who participate. There are a couple work trade positions still available if you need financial assistance paying the workshop fees! Please visit Cruzin Cob Global's website to read full details about our story and the upcoming workshops. We hope some of you will join us! CruzinCobGlobal

This looks like such an amazing opportunity. The students will be staying on-site somewhere?

Thank you! Yes, I think it will be a truly wonderful experience. The students will all be staying on our land for the duration of the workshop, and will either be car camping (if they choose to drive in), or traditional tent camping. Everyone will have access to the hot shower and bathroom in our communal building as well as the communal kitchen on weekends when meals aren't provided. We, the hosts, will be providing 3 vegetarian meals per day Monday through Friday. The webpage on Cruz Cob Global's site gives an in depth description of the course including the details about accommodations and meals, so feel free to read more about it in the links I included in the above post if you feel inspired to do so.
