Yesterday I had to grab a snack at a well known fast food place.

I took a bite of the burger. The smell and back taste of chemicals was amazing. It is not the first time I have encountered this in fast food. Any feedback?

I know I should not eat the crap. My work keeps me on the road. It is not practical to carry food with me at times. So no judgments folks. Just looking for feedback.

Here's an article about just one of the toxic ingredients in fast food: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/dr-mercola/fast-food-health_b_800297.html

Hi, Agreed. I find it almost impossible to find any healthy food eating out. I can't tell you how many times (non-foodie savvy ) people have told me when they resume eating fast food they taste chemical and find they are craving that food in the following days. Using the word addicted. I believe there is more than just chemicals for preservation, smell, flavor, aesthetics, etc.... Possible addictive / hunger inducing chemicals. Wasn't MSG found to act in a similar way?

YES! I have told people about the addiction. Especially pop and products from these places.

Soda has needless ingredients in it. I go thru withdraws of a sort. It is in many food products. I Just thinking about it pushes a crave into my head.

Back in the late 1990s there was a consumer backlash when Mc Donalds switched to GMO potato. The outcry forced MDs to stop using them. That uprising has been forgotten. Today, they use all kinds of GMO products sugar, grains, oils, veggies , etc. But did they go back to GMO potatoes? Anyone know"
