I will trade housing and some food for your help on my land. Work is weed control, water workings, land clean up, barn cleaning, firewood, etc... A couple or a single or a group of friends. Wwoof like situation. Camping with tents, or a trailer or a semi private room in my small home. Near Flathead Lake.

Hey there, your post is just what I'm looking for! My name is Candace and my boyfriend Jeremy and I are looking for a wwoofing type situation somewhere northwest. We're currently in Boulder, CO but planning to move in the next few months. We have a tiny house with a stove but no water, electric, possibly a little solar in the near future, but we're looking for a place to drop our 6'x8' small house and help out. When do you need people to come out?

Hi Candace and Jeremy,

I am looking for help now and through the summer with gardening, weed cutting and watering as well as harvest and processing. Then winter help too.

Just not sure where this idea of helping each other is going. It totally depends upon the parties involved and my financial situation as I do not have the resources to provide for others like wage or much food.

I am private and picky about some stuff like I don't like other peoples dogs messing up my garden or chasing stuff or barking at coyotes or people who don't know how to do anything cause their parents did everything for them. The wwoof experiences I have had were not that good. Like I was educating other peoples 20 somethings on pretty basic skills till they go back to college. Basic skills as in knows a weed from a vegetable plant. Useful skills are gardening, watering, insects, carpentry, mechanic ability, know about farm life, livestock or nursery trees or permaculture or cooking or something that shows initiative on that individuals part.

What I am saying is I want individuals around me that are self motivated and don't need me to tell them to go out and do the agreed upon work arrangement.

I have a special property that is well suited to permaculture development and those are the individuals I seek to share this place with.

Not sure about you moving your 6 x 8 home here. How would you get it here? s it a camper or what?

If you are still interested contact me by my email montanamist@gmail.com

Unfortunately, we have a dog and a cat so it doesn't sound like that's the ideal situation for you! Also, we are looking to move closer to mid-summer in order to save up money for our student loans, etc. Thank you so much for the quick reply though!

Hey Sofia! I live near you, I am in Bigfork and ready to purchase land to start my permaculture reality. (for the third time!) We should get together and swap interns! I am doing a permie, hugel food forest installation at Crossroads Church north of Bigfork. Come on out and celebrate permaculture day with us, May 4th and 5th is the work day. 3141-3808
