my problem is usually........"this program is not responding" and then "do you want to send an error report?"

Oy!  Brenda that's so true!

My Grandmother use to get her cable/dish all messed up by switching from it to regular TV, and then pushing every button out of confusion.  Then she would call some family member for help.  One time I was over at her house doing some work, and as I was getting ready to leave she confessed she had missed the TV up again.  Well I did all the usual things for 10 minutes to get it working agin with no success.  Tired as I was I didn't want to fuss with it any more so I gave the remote to my autistic son.  He pushed one button on the remote and one on the TV - poof Grandma's favorite show was playing....   Now why didn't I think of that sooner

Kids seem to have no barriers when it comes to technology.

My advice is get an Apple computer, they are WAY more user friendly.

I've worked with Microsoft (Windows) pc's and Apple. There is no comparison. No error messages, smooth sailing on my iMac. I'm pretty much self taught & have figured out problems on Windows computers with no help from nobody! It can be very time consuming though, but that's because Windows always makes you jump through at least 3 or more "hoops" to accomplish whatever it is you're trying to do! Yeesh!

I guess I'm the "child" in my household  . I set up the digital stuff. Whatever it is!

Did Steve tell you that? Fuh - Steve. Just look at this tiny ad:
