I will be starting several cherry guilds. Does anyone know of companion plants that are specific to cherries?

Hi Jennifer, Thank you for your response. We were aware of horseradish; and, are hoping to find more items to make it a true guild. Please update if you find more!

Hi Jennifer,
We are in the planning stage and have the standard lists for fruit trees in general (as well as the various general helpful charts in Gaia's). Our seedlings arrive this week end. We are setting them up temporarily in our zones 1 and 2, until they are bigger and we have finished working on our zone 3 and 4 areas. Hence, their current guilding will be short term and we have time to plot out the best possible permanent guild for them. We are slowly turning 12 acres into a food forest and gardens. We are in central VA (zone 7); however, the areas lows are warmer than zone 7, with many things are growing and producing here that one would think could not. So, we also have some leeway on zone sensitive plants. We are putting cumulative synergy as our primary goal, with aesthetics a close second.

I just had the craziest dream. This tiny ad was in it.
