Hello everyone!

I am registering here after I attended my first ever and the first ever permaculture workshop that took place in Lebanon last weekend. I must admit I fell in love with this culture and I am willing to go as far as possible in educating myself to help others with the knowledge and help the environment.

The course was just an introductory one so now I am already looking for a longer one with more practical knowledge.
My aim is to be able to go into teaching this culture and spreading it as I am a good lecturer and a good speaker and we have plenty of potential in Lebanon when it comes to permaculture. Actually I believe Lebanese farmers have been practicing permaculture before even the word was invented and I don't believe one person invented permaculture rather than gathered basic practices from around the world and came up with a technical term such as permaculture.

My request would be to give me the best guide on how to start, where to study, which courses and how long etc.

Much appreciated !

Greetings Alec , Have you seen the Geoff Lawton videos of Greening the Desert in Jordan . I believe projects still stem from that . I hope Lebanon once again will be the Jewel of the Middle East .
