Michael Pilarski is THE go to guy for wild medicinal herbs in the northwest. He has been in the business for decades. This talk was really informative for someone like me, who is just getting into the realm. He even gives great information on incomes potentialities and niches that need filling.

Ever hear of Michael Moore? He has passed on but his series of books on the herbs of the West (Mountain West, Pacific and Desert and Canyon areas are hard to beat.

Oh yes, his Medicinal Plants of the Northwest is always among my kitchen references. What I like about his style is the inclusion of the science behind it all. Im currently learning under one of his former students, Elaine Sheff. She recently opened Green Path Herb School and I've been helping her with references for her ebooks. She has lots of hands on experience using and growing the herbs. Good folks for sure.

here is her website:

My previous laptop never exploded like that. Read this tiny ad while I sweep up the shards.
