Be part of history and participate in the premier
Permaculture Design Certification Course (
PDC) at our
Permaculture Research Institute Master Plan Site at Tipuana Farm in San Marcos, CA. PRI Tipuana Farm is the first Master Plan Site in the United States – with only 10 sites worldwide.
11 day, 72 hour intensive PDC
Lunch included daily + 2 movie nights with dinner + live music and BBQ on March 22nd
The main teacher will be Owen Hablutzel.

Lodging
PRI Tipuana Farm is centrally located between the cities of San Marcos and Vista, CA. There are many hotels in the area to choose from… we suggest checking out Expedia.com or CheapHotels.com for rates etc. (From our review, it looks like both sites offer the same prices). Other nearby cities are Escondido, Carlsbad and Oceanside.

If you’re interested in camping, you can bring your tent and stay at Tipuana Farm for an additional fee. Lunch is provided daily with your course fee, if you would like to have breakfast and/or dinner at the farm there will be an extra charge. Please contact

Transportation
The closest International Airport is in San Diego (airport code SAN) which is approximately 45 minutes to an hour drive away (42 Miles). There is a smaller airport in Carlsbad (airport code CLD) which is 9.5 miles away. You can either rent a car, take an airport shuttle, or take public transportation from the airport (Coaster to the Sprinter to the San Marcos Civic Center Station.) Bus Schedules
