I put this under the
Permaculture forum as in Permanent human culture . A link to a NPR article about a woman who lived her entire life in Oklahoma never having to learn Engish . Knowing the way language shapes our thoughts and feelings , what a perspective she must have had . To have been able to resist the grip of colonialization and assimilation of modern day consumerist America is an awesome lifetime achievement . What we could learn from her .
