While hiking at my Dad's place in NW Pennsylvania, we found a few interesting things poking up through the decaying matter on the ground. Does anyone recognize this specimen?

Some type of Ramaria, perhaps
Ramaria stricta
?
We get them here in the South, usually deep in the undisturbed woods.

Thanks for the link, John. I felt fortunate to have seen them. Very interesting fungi and now they have a name.
