Does anyone on permies.com forums know of a source of Tamworth breeder piglets for sale in central NH this fall? I had a source, but it fell through... OR Do you know of a good website where folks post such things?

Localhavest.org is a listing of organic farms all over the country. Good luck!NH might have a pork producers association also.

Most of the pigs on Vermont's Craigs List have some Tamworth in them. The problem is the driving distance can be prohibitive at times! I found the perfect one a few weeks ago but it turned out to be a three hour drive.

I'm picking up an uncut piglet tomorrow to eventually breed my Ms Piggy.

Winter pigs are generally a little cheaper but they did look happy & calm.

Oh yeah. If you don't see what you're looking for on Craig List, post an ad. I found my piglet that way & did get a slight discount on price.
