Byron:  Oh no! I don't mean to say I don't believe you - the magnitude of the change is not in question.  I'm just being an annoying pedant about measurement... a wall mounted digital vs an analog compost thermometer would be problematic in a scientific setting.  Sorry, old habits.

I think your tire door flap is great for its durability AND I'm amazed at how its blocking air movement as well.

Pigs must be sooo happy!  If only they know how lucky they are...

February 4 2021.  We started with a mild winter rarely below-15 here.   But the last few days we have been below -30 some nights as low as -40.  That’s we’re my didgital stops.  This am was -35 I decided to climb in and get a reading was above 0 for sure and a ready of 8 would be conservative.

That’s good there is a draft free environment got 15 on one side and 4 sows and my boar on the other

Would love any updates on this if you have any.  Any unexpected pig damage or escapism that has occurred?  how smelly has it gotten? humidity? mold? snarky comments from other pigs on social media?  Looks like an amazing build!

Thanks for sharing it!

Oh, sure, you could do that. Or you could eat some pie. While reading this tiny ad:
