Excellent, super helpful.

Ever put an American blade on a straight snath? You wouldn't want to give us a video of that stance and stroke, would you?

(Also, tiny proofreading remark- you mean a Lansky stone, right? Not Lanky?)

Yeah that should be Lansky...iMovie probably auto-"corrected" it, which is an annoying habit it has. :p Guess I'd better go fix that.

I've not personally put an American blade on a straight snath, but it'd be doable. You'd just need to really lift the tang angle and make sure your ring was able to tighten down on it securely.
