These three bushes have red berries on them now (July 9 - Massachusetts). All woody shrubs, about 2m tall.

Bush #1 - growing near my house. Looks like opposite leaves, about 2-3cm long. Fountain-like growth habit.

Bush #2 - on a bike path nearby. Looks a lot like #1, but a little different shade berry and darker green leaves. Might be the same species?

Bush #3 - also on bike path. More sparse bush, less fountainy looking, alternate leaf attachment, lighter green leaves. Berries are sparser too and ripen to dark purple.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the help, permies rock.

Just off the cuff, first bush looks like an autumn olive or goumi....

1 and 2 are honeysuckle, 3 is smooth buckthorn.
None are edible or at least not appetizing.
