i am only looking for non hallucinogenic mushrooms but i know hallucinogenic mushrooms are very powerful healers but feel would be to intense for me. i heard reishi mushrooms are very good at bringing up repressed emotions but am looking for other types of safe mushrooms that will do the same thing but very powerful as well. still ones that are not hallucinogenic. i want something that i would start with a smaller dosage and work my way up depending on how much i can handle the deep intense trapped emotions. even an herb would be great. if you know of anything please let me know. i have tried african ubulawu from my south african healer. ill ask him as well. he trying to keep the healing herbs in africa along with their traditions and ways of healing alive and is growing them in a big garden.

Look at mimosa tree as it is known in the south. Albizia julibrissin. It seems very gentle and effective at bringing up repressed emotions and enabling healing. It was used in traditional Chinese medicine and also seems fairly common in southern/appalachian herbal lore.
