Hello. I am looking for short term permaculture trainings and events coming up in Canada. I can't take a full 10 day PDC off work, but I am looking for a weekend convergence or a few days long training. Ideally, I am looking at British Columbia and Alberta, but am open to any suggestions for events around Canada. Please let me know! Thank you.

Hey Starr,

Have you seen the Food Forest Workshop at Clear Skies Meditation Center in June? Richard Walker will be leading it and he has several decades of food forest/permaculture experience in BC and Alberta.

Cheers,

You might want to look into this program.

I know that Gregoire Lamoureux has a lifelong rural-living experience and was certified as a Permaculture instructor decades ago. He’s been teaching north-temperate PC for at least 20 years, and has been developing his own PC homestead for about that long, I think. He usually acquaints students with some of the other shining homestead examples in the region, as part of the training.
