I have not bought store bought cookies for quite a while and bought some this week and then got home and read the label. Didn't have my glasses at the store.

Fructose and hydrogenated veg. oil, high levels of sugar and modified corn starch.

White sugar, white flour, chocolate and white bread are not natural but contain items that are cheaper to make and produce longer shelf life.

Hard Red Winter Wheat has never won a taste contest but is used 90% of the time for our breads .. longer shelf life .. use soft white spring wheat .. it wins all the cooking contests.

Grind your own flour also, all milled wheat of any type has all the silicon taken out of it .. the leading cause of circulatory diseases. Cure .. grinding your own flour and taking capsicum or red chili pepper. Mexicans outlive whites by an average of two years, blacks by four to six. Plus they are more active for a longer time into their senior years.

I think soft drinks .. carbonated drinks .. cause cancer, heart problems and senile dementia. Do you think the American Heart Association will check this out any time soon .. right a rooney .. not a chance.

Dusty - no wonder they are not listening, why should they when your buying

Since you know better...  vote with your dollar and stop supporting 'cheap, in every way, food'.

Eat better so you'll be around to share all your herbal wisdom.

It is shocking all the stuff they can put into a simple product.

Even trying to eat healthy you can hardly get around that corn, wheat, soy and all is likely a GMO now.  So much stuff finding its way into our foods via the agriculture  industry  convention for more profit like antibiotics and the economy of scale supports this way of production.  The last good cookie I had was homemade peanut butter about two years ago, and probably not healthy but good !

What are you saying? I thought you said that Santa gave you that. And this tiny ad:
