This looks like bridging comb and it used by the
bees to either connect parts of the hive for their own reasons maybe to do with heat ( we don't really know ) or it could be used to hide queen cups .
Neither constitute an emergency
If you need to inspect that part of the hive then you have to chip away at this with your hive tool .
Me with my warre hive I don't bother as I don't do that sort of inspection I let the
bees do what they want . They know what they are doing I don't know what the F @@@ they are up to most of the time . But that's cool
