We have A LOT of ticks around here. My dog came in covered recently and I couldn't imagine how I could get them all off intact. I powdered him down with
diatomaceous earth and they just fell off as I rubbed it in... dead as doornails. I'm sold! I now powder my legs, below the knee, my pants and my socks down when I work outside. When I think of all the times I have tried to pull out a tock or touch it with a match... anything to get the head out... from my own skin, I really wish I had known about this stuff decades ago! I'd see it from time to time in a discussion here and there, but I had no idea what it was until I watched an old
Bill Mollison lecture from the the early 90s. It does all he said it would.
"Them that don't know him won't like him and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him... he ain't wrong, he's just different and his pride won't let him do the things that make you think he's right"
