Homestead/Ranch/Farm Help Wanted

We are looking for a Ranch Hand to stay on our property and help with daily chores. Needs to be able to chop wood and other strenuous activities, construction or building skills preferred and a driver's license is a must. You will receive room and board in exchange for labor, and will stay in an RV on the property. We are 40 miles outside of Trinidad, so we definitely are looking for a special someone that doesn't mind the isolation and the off grid lifestyle. I’m a recently divorced 37 yo man with all the experience and some looking for a new adventure. Grew up on a farm in Kansas and @6’2” 230 have strong back. Carpenter, mechanic, welder, all equipment operator.

Not to distract from Karen's post, but if anyone prefers the Klamath River country of very northern California, we have a similar situation, and very much in need of a carpenter.  Forest homesteading.
