Yes I read Mother Earth News.  I have read it for the last 15 years or so.

Started reading Mother in 1982.

It has changed quite a bit over the years - haven't we all - it is not quite the grass roots mag that it used to be.

That being said, it is still a permanent part of my budget.  I keep all magazines - only parting with one if I am sure that the recipient will appreciate and learn from it.

Looking back at what I just wrote you would think I had 30 years worth of Mother Earth News Magazines - I wish.  No I do have to purge from time to time but they are usually donated to a second hand store where other people (like me) can go buy mags for a bit of change.

Although I have not read it much in recent years, it used to be my favorite reading. I wish it would go back to a more moderate grassroot style.

Not worth the paper it is printed on in my opinion.  Used to be great, and I have a near complete collection of the old ones.  Same way with Organic Gardening.  Used to be full of useful info, now no better than Hobby Farms.  Anyone who is new to growing really should try to find a collection of the old stuff.
