Hi folks!

One thing that fascinates me a lot is hearing stories of how people have applied some of the 12 Permaculture principles in order to solve a problem, or create a better way to do something, in all kinds of areas of their lives: from business, to personal finance, relationships and... of course, gardening.

I'd love to read more of these stories as I think they can really convey that Permaculture (permanent culture) is more than just sustainable farming, rather, a set of ethics and design principles that can be applied to anything.

With this in mind, I had the idea of setting up a website/blog just to collect and share these creative applications of permaculture principles in many different fields.

I'm posting this to, in a very informal way, survey what would be other people's interest in reading such a thing, or even collaborating in someway.

thanks in advance

The original post above is 4 yrs old, but I wanted to bring it back up because...yes.

I've been rereading Building Your Permaculture Property (Avis & Coen) this weekend, and was very struck by the caption near the end of the book, "Suffering is feedback for bad (and ugly) design." (p.174)  Although I had read these very words some time before, I am going through a hard season right now (mentally) and I was wondering if this concept could help me redesign what is giving me problems.

So if Permaculture is far more than "glorified Organic Gardening", it would be great to use the principles throughout our whole lives to design and iterate solutions to alleviate our problems, and it would be great to share ideas with others and see what they are doing, too.
