A while back, I stumbled onto this article about the production of Biodiesels using Organometallic catalysts.

I am unable to find any specifics about the process.  Has anyone tried it?

That's interesting!

The referenced article is about 14 years old ... and although I'm not tied into the BD world anymore (yay, electric car), I'm certainly not aware of a sea change like this.  But it certainly has the potential to make BD very green and totally non-dino.
