It just started pissing down rain and I still have over 50 gallons or rainwater in storage!
This is the first time I've made it from one monsoon season to the next without having to pay for
water in the garden.
I almost ran out a couple weeks ago, but an unexpected tropical storm made it all the way up here and dumped 3/4" of rain on us and we were able to capture almost 900 gallons (it goes fast this time of year)
This year I plan on expanding my storage and capture area so that hopefully we can stop paying for water used inside the house, which will also mean that we personally won't be depleting the aquifer anymore.
My opinions are barely worth the paper they are written on here, but hopefully they can spark some new ideas, or at least a different train of thought
