Dear Friends, We have gone through many changes in the past few years. Last year we decided to make some major changes of focus, goals, priorities, and development at our farm.

We now have a solid plan for the next year - which includes a lot of help with preparing, building, maintaining, expanding, organizing, and more.

The main founders of this land project also have several other projects and missions that have been keeping them from residing on the farm full time. This is one of the reasons we are now seeking help. Specifically...

We are seeking a caretaker couple to oversee the basic projects and maintenence of the farm. This includes domestic help such as food preparation, cleaning, laundry, basic gardening, overseeing basic farm systems, managing the volunteers, and possibly even admin help.

In exchange you both recieve free room and board - the opportunity to live in the amazing country of Costa Rica, with pure clean spring water, fresh mountain air, abundant beauty and nature, fresh organic foods, and be a part of a really awesome progressive project.

Could be in the Ganoderma family, yet not Ganoderma Lucidum... possibly Ganoderma Applanatum or a Fomitopsis

We are in Costa Rica, at about 1500 meters... garlic seems to be a more difficult crop to grow here, and all throughout the country.

It seems to like sandy soil and raised beds or in planter boxes.

Most organic garlic we see is very small and difficult to use because of the small size of the cloves.

Most garlic here is imported from China.

We tend to grow it only for the chives.

I just may write them though... as this particular fungi has many mushroom fans baffled.

I have found a few like that here... I guess the rainforests still have rare finds when it comes to plants and fungi.

It is only a partial tree now... most has decayed... a decaying stump remains.
Once a tree in the Costa Rican rainforest, presumably a hardwood.
