I too would be very much interested in knowing about any up and coming PDC's (or any good permaculture courses for that matter) in South America between September and February 2013. Also if anyone on this forum has had any experiences with Río Muchacho in Ecuador or knows of anyone, I'd much like to hear of your/their experiences, whether doing the month long course or just spending a few days there.
Jake - I emailed Río Muchacho roughly a week ago and have heard back from them since, so I'm assuming they eventually got back to you as well. The course does sound quite good, but as I wrote above, I'd really like to hear about some recent experiences from people who have either done the month long course or just spent a few days there. Also there is a El Manzano in Chile that does PDC's now and then whom I also emailed a week or so asking whether they had any PDC's planned for the months mentioned above. They said that nothing was planned as of yet, but to keep checking back because you never know, which makes me think that if there was enough interested in one taking place between Sep-Feb that they would probably put one on. So if you wouldn't mind doing a PDC in Chile between those months, perhaps send them an email of interest and perhaps the cogs might start turning. Also if you hear of any PDC's, experiences at Río Muchacho or anything WWOOFing related in South America which sounds incredible, please do share it here if you have the time. I'm trying to figure out what to do and where to do it during my time over there, so the info would definitely be appreciated!
