Have you tried habeñeros tea? Spray it on plants and pour down nest holes.

I once had a mite problem. I sent away for an order of predatory mites, which feed on the problem mites without becoming a problem themselves. The red mites disappeared. Next spring they returned, so I got another order of the good guys. The red mites went away and never returned. That was 10 years ago! I think I got the predatory mites from Peaceful Valley Farm Supply. Good luck!
