I have acquired some ground in South Texas that has an infestation of Macartney rose. It looks like previous owner bulldozed area and scraped these invasive roses into large piles which will eventually have to be burned. There is still pervasive growth of this invasive throughout property. Just wondering short of using chemicals has anyone tried ridding ground of this plant? Would compost piles destroy this or any biological control be known. Thanks Cal Oliver
