I bought a pot of ornamental four leaf clover called Dark Dancer and was wondering if it would be a good idea to use it as a ground cover in my flower beds. I like that it would be able to fix nitrogen and was thinking that it could probably be sheared several times during the summer to increase the soils biomass. Any opinions? Has anyone done this already with a white clover and what were your results, good or bad? How does clover 'play' with other plants, is it a bully or does it get along?
