Our house in March 2020, one picture is from the very bottom of property, 14 acres from poles to tree line on right. Construction just stopped yesterday due to the virus. Hoping to move in in 3 months. Have many permie plans!

We finally closed on the property after 5 long years, and are in the process of building a home. The home is actually delivered already, the foundation is dug, waiting, waiting, waiting on block, utitlities, then crane, etc etc. Hope to be in well before spring.

Chadwick/Ryan/Kevin,
Sorry, I look at this site all the time, and wasn't notified of some of these responses. After all this time, we may be closing on our 14 acres next month.
Thanks,
Bob

Thanks Chadwick, glad to know I'm not alone! Have you done permaculture yet?

Thanks John. The mechanism might be the wind break. I would expect the oxygen levels to be different in an open field, a regular forest, and a forest garden. It may not be significant though.

I've read that air above the ocean or in a forest contains significantly more oxygen than the average 20%. This is part of the reason we feel refreshed after visiting the beach for instance. Has anyone measured this in a mature Forest Garden?

Hi, I'm from Pittsburgh, PA. I'm in the process of purchasing 14 acres of farm land south of Pittsburgh, and have been devouring Permaculture books for 6 months, when I discovered it. Anybody from this area?
