I just moved to Asheville, NC and am building a hydroponics system (the lease said no fish tanks). I have lived in New Orleans most of my life and am wondering how the winter will affect my plants. Will the water be too cold for the roots? I've seen some information about water heating elements like this one (Heating Element https://www.amazon.com/dp/B017UK0ZUW?psc=1 ). Any advice would be appreciated.
If I were to inoculate a garden bed or a compost pile with mushrooms (say, oyster mushrooms) with the goal of creating improved soil, would the mushrooms later interfere with vegetable growing?
Hi, the only south facing window I have is in a bathroom above the shower. I think this should be okay for a tray of seeds: Moist environment and hot like a green house. Is there any problem I'm not considering?
