Hi all,

Due to an unforeseen geographical relocation, our "Sunburst" permaculture homestead in suburban Indianapolis/Carmel will be on the market this spring. We'd *really* like to sell it to someone who will continue to enjoy/evolve it as a permaculture design and with respect for nature.

Brief details: 3 acres (hence certain agricultural zoning privileges) with small swaled orchard, edible hedge, food forest, perennial terraced garden, annual vegetable beds, chicken coop/compost cage, duck coop, mobile chicken coop/tractor, 3-stall horse barn. Approx. half of property fenced (no deer), half is open field suitable for sheep or goats or for design expansion. Mix of mature trees and sunny open areas. Comfortable 3-bed, 2-bath house with trellised deck and vines. Currently productive in annual veggies, various perennials (lovage, walking onions, strawberries, sorrel, rhubarb, asparagus, arugula, spinach, other edibles), many herbs and ground edibles, blueberries, haskaps, blackcurrants, gooseberries, goumi berries, mulberries, elderberries, etc. Future production includes pawpaw, plums, apples, peaches, pears, sour cherries, seaberries, hawthorn berries, hazelnuts, jostaberries, grapes, hardy kiwifruit, blueberries, goji berries, etc. Lots of flowers and habitat attracting pollinators and wildlife. Water harvesting from roofs. Delicious well water.

Although a broad-brush design has been put in place, there is also scope to add in layers and expand the design if needed.

The property is in a small rural-feeling pocket but very handy to conveniences such as shops and schools, as well as to Central Park commons which includes a wildlife refuge.

Any interest (or suggestions as to how best to find a responsible steward to take ownership after us), please let me know.

Many thanks,
Adam
