Yes, they are expensive, but if you can find one with a stainless steel container they are so worth it. Super long warranty (seven years!), too.
Yes, I have also used Vitamix for many years. I like to use it to stir nuts such as cashews and peanut butter. I made butter (dairy) and cold fruit dessert. I like to treat myself and life well.
