I have personally used Doulton Filtadapt which is great for me as I live in a rental property. Delivers great tasting water. Compared to other systems, I feel Doulton is a great choice. Replacements are easy to find. Their gravity system uses Super Sterasyl candles which equivalent to Ultracarb filter.
Did you check out any reverse osmosis system though. They look primosing than ceramic water filters.
