Also, a place in Tennessee, whom I decided not to use because I don't need that many plants, sells seedlings in bulk at pretty low prices. The only catch is you usually have to buy at least 50-100 specimens at a time, so if they sell each one for .80c, you're still going to be paying a pretty hefty price tag. But, at least you'd get your money's worth.

I just looked them up again real quick, it was Tennessee Wholesale Nursery.

Of course, Texas is a very different region, so I hope you can find, at least, some of what you're looking for. Good luck.

Thank you so much for the information. I will be sure to pass it along to our designer. You are right, of course! Texas is very different when It comes to availability,  and with the freeze, even more so. I trust we will be able to source most if not all of our needs though. Herbs and medicinals seem to be in Good supply. Fruit trees and berries are what seems to be a bit of a boon. Still thanks for your message and we will see what we can find! Now send us workers! 😆

Hi permies!
We are working on a largescale Food Forest plant that we will be undertaking here in Austin on the 5-7th. I have been asked to source all manner of plants and soil that, admittedly, I only know a little about. While I'm reading my design books, the real designer hit me up with a list that seemed staggering in scale and I am attempting to locate these plants and soils from basically as few places as necessary. Not sure if this is the right place to ask a question like this or not, (sorry, in advance if it is not) but any information on wholesale suppliers or nurseries that can fulfill large orders and where I may find two or three workers who need minimal training who would like to help with the install would really point us in the right direction and make Austin a little greener! (And hopefully more delectable) Thanks for any assistance. Pay will be between $15-20 an hour based on experience.
Please feel free to contact either here or at redefiningpc@gmail.com.  Thanks! 🙏🌱❤
