Hi all, long time permies.com lurker here posting what I expect will be the first of many questions I just can't keep to myself any longer!
I am interested in building a Rocket Mass Heater, and have various ideas for how to incorporate one into a small home structure. One question that keeps coming up for me: how long can the exhaust duct be? Can parts of it go upwards and if so, how far?
If someone can direct me to further info on understanding the calculations and physical specifications necessary to make a RMH work properly, I would greatly appreciate it!
