Jarrahdale are an amazing addition to your breeding crop! We had a horrific drought (for this are, the Ozarks) a few years ago. Months without rain, temps over 100, Japanese beetles in plague proportions.

I had a Jarrahdale that shrugged it all off. I watered it a few times, but mostly left it to its own devices. It spread 50+ feet in each direction and gave me 30 squashes. Vine borers couldn’t keep up with the growth. It just put down roots at the nodes and kept on going. I was so impressed.

We grew Dragon Tongue last year! Tastiest beans I’ve ever had. Sautés with butter and salt they were phenomenal. I didn’t find them terribly productive, but hoping for better things this year.
Thanks for the visual aids! Very helpful. I’m not a novice gardener by any means, but I’m only beginning to learn how to address different deficiencies naturally and I’m always getting the different symptoms mixed up.

New here to the forums. Looking forward to getting to know you all, and contributing to the community as I can.

I’m hoping somebody can guide me towards a good source for Bocking 14 comfrey. Perhaps open to 4, but since the main use will be green manure/mulch, I’d prefer 14.

I currently have a seed strain of comfrey, which is not ideal but has been steadfastly providing me with nutritious matter for the past several years. It’s starting to seed about a little bit, though, so I would like to slowly try to eradicate it (haha, I know) while replacing it with a Russian comfrey.

If this is not the right area of the forum, please feel free to gently slap me on the wrist and direct me to the right part

Thanks!
