I have a very big scalding pot that I fill 1/2 way with water and bring it to a boil. Then I add 1 1/2 buckets of rolled barley stir and let it cool. Once cooled I top off the pot with water and add 2 packs of yeast, cover the top and let the yeast do it’s work.
Over the next 3 days I feed the pigs 2/3 of a 5 gallon bucket twice a day from the bucket. It smells a lot like beer.
The pigs love it and seem to be thriving on this “wet” fermented barley and pasture grass diet.
So please weigh. Is it balanced? Should be supplementing?
