A - completely useable, I just don't need it anymore
B - some dirt/wear, just fine to get you by
C - something is broken about it, needs minor repair most people could do
D - needs serious, expert-level repair to get going
F - it's dead. offering item for spare parts/raw materials

I love this idea, I want the listings to have more customisation so I was also thinking of if the business would pay to receive goods, would be a nominal fee but your barter system could also work!

I will test out some customisation features and post an update!
Hey guys,
I wanted to share with you a website that I am currently developing called "Who Wants Rubbish". the aim is to reduce waste and promote upcycling by connecting individuals and businesses that have unwanted household items with those who can use them. The projects ultimate goal is to create a circular economy where goods are kept in use for as long as possible.

This came about after I was at the local tip/recyclying centre and was in the car with my wife, and wondered why so many people were ditching repairable items. This didn't just include electronics, but also furniture, boxes, plastics etc. I thought about how local bucinesses such as charities, non-profits etc could use these items if people were more aware about where they could donate to in their local area.
I am also inspired by articles such as The Restart Project website about the importance of recycling and reusing products. It made me even more determined to work on the web app and to create a platform that can make a positive impact on the environment.
Article here: https://therestartproject.org/news/recycling-reusable-products/

Our website is currently under development, but we have a landing page where you can learn more about our mission, aims goals etc here: https://whowantsrubbish.com/

I would love to hear your feedback and any ideas you might have to improve our platform. What features do you think would be most helpful for promoting upcycling and reducing waste?

I know other current websites include Freegle, Fb market place and such and I wondered what additional features could be introduced to make it more appealing.
If anyone has any ideas then please do reply. I also have created a twitter account that I am using to raise awareness and aid in promotijng upcycling and zero-waste ideas. Given the recent raise in almost everyones utility bills myself and my wife were always on the hunt for smarter ways to save energy, items and water where we could. Twitter link is below (shameless plug ofc).
