Hi - I'm new to the forum in the United States, Pennsylvania. I recently purchased a Dapple Dandy Pluot and a Spring Satin Plumcot (both pictured) and potted them into 20 gallon grow bags so I can keep them in my raised bed garden for now and then later move them if I need to. I think they look great in my raised bed garden and gives it some dimension.
I was wondering if you would prune these to an open center, a modified central leader, or possibly some forum of espalier? Suggestions would be great, as I'm new to all of this.
Plumcot (almost seems like an open center may fit this one)
Pluot (I almost feel like this one lends itself to a modified central leader or some king of espalier fan...can Pluots be formally espaliered with horizonal branches like an apple?)
