For crushing the finished char, we use an old electric cement mixer with a few palm sized rocks thrown in. It makes a racket, but will grind the char to complete dust if you that's what you want. It usually takes about an hour to get 1 inch to half inch pieces, a little more if you start with larger pieces.

Hi, everyone. First time here. I am desperately looking for exactly where a LAND OWNER would go to find out more about this program. I am a farmer and I live in what used to be a predominantly agricultural area in the mountains of Colorado. Our happy little county has been discovered and we are losing farms to developers by the minute. I would like to find out how a land owner would be able to know more about this program both so I can tell my fellow farm and ranch owning friends, but so I can write about this program in our local paper. I've searched this site and the whole of the internet, but alas I am unable to find even a possible pre-made press release. I greatly appreciate all of you who are learning new skills, but where do the land owners who don't want their hard work to be bulldozed for townhouses go to get more information?
