Okay well I'm from cass arkansas. Lots of springs, my father showed me this ole hole in the ground and explained to me this is how pioneers kept there food cool they would sit the milk ect. Down in this rock box in the ground the size of a good size yeti ice chest the spring ran through that box to keep the food cold it Continuously of course kept running through the box year round. Then there was like a notch in the side of the box where the water would drain out And the stream would continue on. I've always thought of a way When we were camping To utilize the stream and many other streams that we camped by 2 benefit me. Just too recently I have decided I'm going to make AAC unit with that continuous running stream My plan is to put a star phone My plan is to put a Styrofoam ice chest with holes poked inside and fill it full of ice then take my fan I have a few fans that are power by solar and a few powered by battery and in the lid of the ice chest take an dryer accordian style aluminum vent pipe and place my smaller fan inside the vent tube coming from the lid of the ice chest blowing toward the outer end of the tube (might use pvc instead) will use GREAT STUFF to seal the pipe to the lid that ice should last at least one night if properly covered with either wood or something that will absorb the heat since it will be sitting inside a hole in the middle of a stream holes poke all around as well as a in hole bigger hole and out hole bigger hole will have to use mesh so that I won't loose any ice.
