NW RI, north western part of Rhode Island, yes that's a state, the smallest state of the country, nestled between Mass and Connecticut. I explain that because I have met people who think RI is part of NY, apparently absent the day geography was covered back in the third grade
I might also ad, RI (the ocean state) has many beautiful beaches up and down the coast, a large bay surrounding the islands of Jamestown and the famous Newport, home of the Great Gatsby, and other famous people coming from old money, hence the amazing mansions along the cliff walk-only minutes from anywhere in RI, also, on the western side RI, its hilly, mountains are nearby, the tip of the Appalachians, (my street is actually part of the Appalachian Trail) all the way down to the Virginias and beyond from my west and south, and the Berkshires are just north of me, beginning in western mass. Boston is an hour and a half away, from my location, and Hartford a little over an hour. All in all, a pretty great area if one appreciates variety. Providence, the capital of RI, is only 25 minutes from me, and is the home of Brown and RISD, with historic architecture everywhere.

Although at this time I am not in a position to offer a salary, possibly you may still want to consider this opportunity if you could arrange for creating some other income source, as the amount of free time you would need for that could be completely up to you to arrange at your discretion. For example, odd jobs in the community, or an internet business, like ebay....
just food for thought, on my end, lots of flexibility.

I own a small 1 acre property in rural, NW RI, wooded lot, with lakes very nearby, and I would like to find some help with building a deck, greenhouse that is rocket mass heated for an aquaponic system. Lots of potential for many possible homesteading projects. There is flexibility with arrangement, short or long term, camper nestled in woods is available for privacy, lots of storage, animal friendly, and many other perks such as, wifi, use of distillation equipment, bikes, hiking trails, foraging, mushroom growing, maple tapping, etc...This could be an opportunity to build, experiment, or even be part of creating with the local community for a cooperative swap/framer's market. A farm stand, even a small shop could be feasible due to convenient location to main roads and interstates. I am a working, single mother of a mature, teen with whom I am very close to. We also have two small dogs, and two cats.We love all animals and would be open to more, under right conditions.

If you hav'nt found your new position, would you be interested in working in NW RI on some projects like rocket mass heater making for a greenhouse containing an aquaponic system? The property in wooded, with a few lakes very nearby. I read your bio, liked your style and openness in how you describe yourself and skill, also, loved your photography. I am a working, single mother of one mature independent, responsible teen who I am very close to and we would like to find someone interested in bartering accommodations for help with our plans, and or maintaining the property short or long term. The area is very clean, good well water, and lots of wildlife. I could be flexible with the arrangements, and I believe the right fit (personality wise) is what's most important for a productive, mutually beneficial collaboration. There is a small house, (that we live in now), a two car garage, two sheds and a camper set back in the woods, plus, there is room for more, as well as additions.
