Biography

Devaka started programming with Pascal and BASIC languages when he was 13, and he has been coding with Java since 2003. Devaka got his bachelor's in computer science from the University of Moratuwa, and currently holds SCJP, SCWCD, and SCBCD certifications. He is mostly known as the author of ExamLab , which is a popular exam simulator for SCJP certification.
When he is not wrangling with his JavaEE and enterprise projects, he likes to play with sneaky web application security stuff.

It's not a real captcha. It's a simple script that checks whether your browser is.... real. If it figures that out, it would immediately 'solve' itself. If not, you would just have to press that button.
We DO use a 'captcha' think that works exactly like how you described it, but only for links originating from emails. It's not really a captcha - just something to prevent your email service provider from ruining certain confirmation links for you.

Follow your link to go to the garden master course page.  Click on one of the "buy" buttons and you will see payment options.  Hover your mouse over the brown bar below the payment options.  You should see your f-code!  That proves that your f-code is working!
