Thanks so much for your help, just a few more quick questions.
The sawdust is not very white yet, so shall we take the spawn out of the fridge & keep inside our house at room temp for the 2 weeks, or outside on our porch ? So the spawn has a chance to develop more ?
Should we put the spawn back in the fridge 1 day before inoculation, so the spawn is hibernating when we inoculate ?

It's not completely white yet, it hasn't fruited, we were gonna drill holes in them with a half inch woodpecker drill and use bees wax to cover the holes once we filled them with the spawn.

Yeah sorry we got the spores in sawdust

We got shiitake mushroom spore earlier this year and didn't get logs cut yet, sadly. Is it to late to cut some logs and if not how long should we let the logs sit before inoculate them ?
