thanks for the kind words, the camper did really well for us. We did have the Kimberly and I hate to say it, the best part about a Kimberly is how well they hold their value for resale. It was ok, just not impressive enough for the price. If it were like half the price it would probably be impressive enough. We still had to get up in the middle of the night to re-load it or by morning it would get pretty chilly. We even met with the makers to have them instruct us on how to use it, just in case we were doing it wrong, but we were doing it all correctly.

I am however really impressed with the composting toilet. It really makes it so you never have to move the camper and it is way easier to use than I had expected. First thing most ask is about the smell in a small space, but I am sure people on this forum would know that is not an issue! My husband cringes when people ask me about the composting toilet as I love to rave about it and cause great discomfort to those not familiar with composting toilets. He always says, "what it really comes down to is we shit in a bucket"

Not sure if I can list it here, but I am selling my off the grid camper. It has an air head composting toilet, 450 watt solar set up, fridge runs off sloar/propane, extra insulation because we lived in it in the winter. We had a wood stove in it, I would put a rocket mass heater in if it was going to be stationary. I have a water filtration system/pump that uses UV light to sterilize water we pulled from our creek. Could be a pretty cool instant home in remote area. 2004 Artic Fox

Solar set up-
3 x 150 Watt panels
Blue Sky 3024i MPPT Controller and multi stage charger
6 Gauge wire to minimize line loss
Adjustable brackets to tilt panels in winter
2 6v Lifeline Batterires (This is $650 and huge upgrade)

Extra insulation
Removed cheap 1/8” bottom of camper. Insulated entire basement with R10 2” foam. Replaced bottom with 3/4” plywood. Painted with deck paint.
