Hey we live in Siloam springs ar, j have some chicken manure up for grabs. Trades such as canned food, home raised meat, seeds, help in our garden, money if you are able , stories from your life, knowledge on gardening, animal husbandry, really anything will be considered. I usually have access to a front end loader and could help load and if not I got shovels. Thanks!

Hey Jason how's it going, welcome to NWA. Me and my family moved here from Oregon about a year and a half ago and we have been slowly building out farm. We are currently focusing on making lasangna garden beds and general upkeep in the garden. We have about 30 20 foot long beds in and about 100 melon/squash mounds. Half of which are planted and starting to put on fruit! The other half are partially done and I'm scrambling to try to finish them so I can plant in by the 4 the of July. I think that's about as far as I can push it to still get a good crop before first frost. With that being said we always welcome anyone one who wants to get their hands dirty to come on down. The idea of a labor exchange sounds awesome. We have lots of veggies, organic chicken, goat milk or I can do some work for you when you find your homestead. Pm me and let's get together for coffee. I've been in contact with a few others who just move here and a few who have established homestead, maybe we could all get together! Well I'm excited about the possibilities!!

Hey I'm looking for someone around nw arkansas who has built a rocket mass heater. I'm having a bit of trouble with cob ratios and the manifold. I am willing to pay and feed anyone who is interested in coming out to the homestead and building one with me. Also open for work trade instead of cash. Thanks

Hey me and my wife live on the outskirts of Siloam springs, close to high fill. We are working on a piece of land out here and are looking to meet like minded people in the area. We would love to Share ideas\work and resources.I'm 32 and she is 26 we have a daughter and want to be food independent. We have a couple goats and a couple week old black Angus heifer that we are bottle feeding. We will raise her as a breeding cow and raise her young for beef. We have about 35 25 foot long by 4 feet wide lasangna garden beds we made and around 30 large melon mounds made the same way. It is insane how much cardboard and round bales of hay we have used! We will be putting in fruit and but trees and a nice sized berry patch. Also going to plant about a acre of ginseng in the timber. Just got my pipe bender in the mail, gonna put up a 20x40 greenhouse this summer with a rocket stove for heat.Bees, aquaponics, worm farm and root cellar are all being dreamed about and will come into fruition. But now I'm just rambling.
