I have been looking for a place out of the US for a while...just a few months ago lost everything from the fires in Oregon I had built up for 20 years...with no insurance
I found some wonderful places in Northern France with stone houses and slate roof with enough rain to keep things green and looks like a wonderful place to create projects.
Anyone or maybe 15 anyone's with some capitol to invest in a cooperative farm village in northern France...close to ferry to Britain?
the place is 2.2 million euros..but has many Ha of fertile land and 15 stone houses in descent shape with walled gardens and greenhouses.
up for an adventure into self sustainability?

the place I was looking was sold.
Maybe Equador is not right at this time.
a few months ago wildfires just destroyed what I had built up for 20 years in Oregon.
I have been looking to areas with less fire and disasters to place roots now.
I found some places in northern France stone buildings with slate roofs and enough rain to be green and fertile.
If someone is interested in adventure I know of a small farm village for sale...2.2 million euros but with many Ha of fertile land walled gardens and 15 ..yes 15 Stone house each with 2 to 5 bedrooms and kitchens..in fair to good condition...cold be a self sustaining village not to far from Britannia and Paris.
Possibilities are opening

The U.S . has been having an impact all over
I found it so funny traveling and hearing "they dont have this or that??" "how can they live that way" from american tourists  to another country...if you wanted it like "home" then staying
there is probably best. The money brought to countries from US is a blessing an maybe a curse. But its really any wealthy country...China, UK ect
I would like to have some people who have the desire to live in harmony with the earth...where we can create and explore the beauty of our soul.
Ecuador was one thought...truly I can be many places and would work out...I have been looking at Portugal as well.
Perhaps where will manifest

I found a place with Tranquility, Beauty, Privacy 3 miles from Otavalo, the Valley of Eternal Spring.

on 37+ acres on a dead end road, with a total of 5 Homes plus 3 additional buildings and a complete infrastructure
we could do shares that would start at 5% owners at 20k...we can co-habitat, build, create.
The property has 5 houses well constructed already! The 4 houses can be utilized on a revolving system with owners shares. The 4 houses around 1300 sft each and a main house is around 3500 sft with commercial kitchen and dining for 20. rooms could be transformed into yoga, meditation, massage spa like. while living in an amazing transformational clean air environment.
We could have artists, health care, permaculture, visionaries, festivals.

We can grow fruits and vegetables year round, this property is on the top of a hill with incredible views and sunrises!

Yes thanks Ben...I have been broadening the search area...coastal is great..love the ocean! Traveled up and down in my camper van with my pups, looking to create a space for the future now.

and Stacy, yes permitted structures is a challenging for appraisal and inspections that come with financing. Found a great place with 2 houses on 10 acres..but neither was permitted so the could not finance.
so will continue the search...I will message you perhaps you have some inside tips.

There are others I have come across..lately a 25 acre organic orchard...was talking with the owner two days ago and was told yesterday someone came in with an offer they took.

I have a pre-approval for finance now but it seems  many have loads of cash to scoop up good places.

perhaps a wonderful place will open up soon that will be perfect..

If we have many people interested there are some large places...we can pool resources and do a co-operative land purchase

I had a contract with the owner but
I was unable to obtain the funding for the property in time. It was very devastating to see such a perfect property slip by...4 houses a cob structure with separate area by creek with outdoor kitchen and cob ovens. All on 38 acres in Oregon with hundreds of BLM land surrounding. I look forward to finding such another gem and having the resources available to create the space.
