Here, in southern Arizona, some folks use the Zuni sunken garden method. Dig down about 6-8 inches and that’s your bed. Here we have to dig deeper and put some decent soil in. Then you use the plants to shade the ground by (basically) over planting. Think Three Sisters method. THEN you water deeply every other day. It makes the roots grow deep so they are less susceptible to the heat. I hope this was what you were looking for!

Hey R,
I feel ya. The trick is to find a minimizing sports bra. Packing in the girls, I suggest sweat wicking too, helps with the inversion poses. Unfortunately they’re not cheap and I’m not sure about your size being available, but I’ve found them on clearance at Lucy and Athleta. If the problem is more about them getting in the way a yoga strap or a tea towel can help you get around the girls. Hope this helps.

My oldest son has this hyper sensitivity/processing issue. I’m not going to lie, it made for a very difficult parenting experience. The book that saved my sanity was “ Raising Your Spirited Child” byMary Sheedy Kurcinka. Even if you don’t have a kid with these issues it gives a lot of insight on the Problem. It’s not a problem but a processing issue but that is the convenient word that comes to mind.
