Biography

Just put in a bunch of black/rasp/blueberries around my home along with two peach trees and a lone cherry. I removed some medium sized evergreen trees from the previous tenant and turned the area into a cut flower garden and put some grape vines in behind them. I proceeded to bury the evergreens and build a hugel next to my single 4x8 raised bed. I’m hoping to cover the backyard in wood chips and build a food forest, I believe I am well on my way and I couldn’t be more excited.

Thank you for taking the time to reply to me so quickly! I’m sorry to hear about your oaks, I hope the losses end there. I’ve never been one to stand at the edge of the pool so thank you for your encouragement, I’ve decided to order the spawn after all. If it doesn’t take I’ll just try again in the spring as you did. As for the spelling error, hakuna matata, I hardly noticed on account of it being phonetically close enough so don’t beat yourself up over it!

Fall is an awesome time to plant perennials

I’m planting blueberries blackberries and raspberries around my suburban home. I live with my mom currently and I’m hoping to put in a food forest so that I can learn along the way for when I am in a position to homestead on my own property in addition to leaving my mother a reliable source of healthy food.
